Sachsenflug

Sachsenflug is a provider of sightseeing and experience flights departing from Chemnitz-Jahnsdorf, offering passengers a fresh perspective on Saxony. Customers can choose established routes or arrange a flight duration to suit their plans, with options ranging from a 20-minute tour over Chemnitz to longer journeys across the Muldental and Erzgebirge. Flights last from 20 to 120 minutes, and tickets are valid for one year from issue.

They can be purchased for personal use or given as gifts, with flight dates arranged later by phone. Sachsenflug also offers an opportunity to take the controls of an ultralight aircraft after a thorough briefing, under expert supervision. The company organizes bookings directly and personally coordinates dates, taking weather and availability into account.

Flights mainly depart from Chemnitz-Jahnsdorf airfield, between Chemnitz and Stollberg. Safety and visibility come first; when conditions are unsuitable, a replacement date is arranged. Sachsenflug’s offerings include individual flight experiences, gift vouchers, route selections, and support with scheduling
