Substance Abuse Center of Kansas (SACK) supports individuals and families affected by substance use through prevention, treatment, recovery services, and practical guidance. Serving communities across Kansas, SACK offers an experienced, therapeutic approach that can address addiction and mental health needs, with services shaped around each person’s circumstances and recovery goals.

Its offerings include alcohol and drug screening and assessments, referrals to appropriate treatment, follow-up services, case management, consultations, and educational presentations. Recovery support may include individual, group, and peer-based therapy. SACK also operates detox and sobering units to assist people through the challenges of detoxification, as well as Crossover Recovery Centers that provide evaluations, assessments, case consultations, referrals, and educational programming. Peer-to-peer services help individuals and families address everyday barriers with resources, support, and guidance.

SACK provides prevention and education outreach for individuals and groups and connects people with local resources and care. Its locations include offices and recovery services in Wichita, Hutchinson, El Dorado, and other parts of Kansas.
