About SADA
SADA, the Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy, is a prominent technical and academic organization that was established through a beneficial partnership between Saudi Aramco, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), and industry sponsors. As a comprehensive training hub for the drilling and workover industry, SADA sets high regional, national, and international standards in the field. Managed by an independent board of trustees, SADA aims to address the growing demand for skilled drilling professionals by providing top-notch training and qualification programs.
With an expected need for over 30,000 trained experts in the industry by 2020, SADA was founded in response to Saudi Aramco's initiative in 2014. In September 2016, the academy opened its doors to the first group of trainees, and its official inauguration ceremony took place on September 29, 2019. SADA is committed to delivering world-class training that equips participants with the necessary skills and expertise while promoting competitiveness and development in the Kingdom's drilling and workover sectors.
