Saddletree

Saddletree is a Czech workshop founded by Tomáš Venc, a trained carpenter whose lifelong experience working with wood informs the brand’s approach to western riding equipment. Based in Chotěboř, the workshop makes western stirrups and saddle trees by hand, creating custom pieces for riders and saddle makers. Its work combines traditional construction methods with new technologies, drawing on experience in furniture making, design and musical instrument building.

Saddletree’s western stirrups are designed to support and protect the rider’s feet, with comfort and practical use in mind, whether riding long distances or working with cattle. Its saddle trees are built to distribute the weight of the rider and equipment effectively and to provide a durable foundation for the demands of western riding and ranch work. Customers can use online configurators to tailor stirrups and saddle trees to their requirements, including options for exposed wood. Saddletree emphasizes an individual approach, careful craftsmanship and high attainable quality at an appropriate price. The workshop supplies customers worldwide and welcomes inquiries through its website.
