Sadhana Forest is an inspiring reforestation project and sustainable living community that has been working diligently since December 2003. Founded by Yorit and Aviram Rozin, their vision is to transform 70 acres of severely eroded, arid land on the outskirts of Auroville, Tamil Nadu, South India. With a strong focus on human unity, Sadhana Forest aims to introduce people to sustainable living, food security through ecological transformation, wasteland reclamation, and veganism.

Their primary focus is on creating a lush and indigenous Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest (TDEF). Sadhana Forest has been recognized internationally for its ecological and humanitarian work, winning the third place in the Humanitarian Water and Food Award in 2010. They have also expanded their efforts to Haiti, distributing and planting 80,000 food-bearing trees, and recently established a third location in Samburu County, Kenya, to address droughts and malnutrition in the region.

With a dedication to environmental education and community engagement, Sadhana Forest welcomes visitors and has hosted thousands of participants, interns, and students from around the world. Through their innovative initiatives like the Children's Land project, they empower local communities to be actively involved in sustainability and inspire future generations
