Safe Support

Safe Support Ventures is an Ofsted-regulated provider of residential care for children aged 10–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Operating in Brent, Barnet and the wider North West London area, the organisation offers warm, structured homes designed to help children feel secure, develop and prepare for greater independence. Its journey began in 2017 with semi-independent placements for looked-after children and care leavers, before the provider shifted its focus to regulated children’s homes.

Care is child-centred and trauma-informed, built around consistent relationships, clear routines and supportive boundaries. Through Positive Behaviour Support, staff help children strengthen emotional resilience, develop a positive sense of identity and build practical life skills. The homes support children facing family or placement breakdown, emotional and behavioural needs, homelessness, or seeking asylum as unaccompanied minors. Safe Support Ventures works collaboratively with families, local authorities and other professionals, and accepts placement referrals from local authorities and placing teams, including out of hours.

Its homes include Bovingdon in Brent, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, and Shapes in Barnet, rated Good.
