Safe Mobility for Life

Safe Mobility for Life is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to enhancing transportation safety and mobility in Florida, particularly for aging road users. This coalition works to provide vital resources through its Safe Mobility for Life Program, which includes a Strategic Action Plan aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by older drivers. The program emphasizes education on safe driving skills, dementia and transportation discussions, and the provision of a Law Enforcement Toolkit to assist various stakeholders, including families, health care providers, and law enforcement officials.

Visitors to the Resource Center can access valuable educational materials, participate in community events, and find information on local licensing offices. Safe Mobility for Life also promotes involvement in CarFit events, which help individuals ensure their vehicles are adjusted for optimal safety. Additionally, the initiative offers assistance in finding alternative transportation options via FindaRideFlorida.org, reinforcing its commitment to help Floridians remain safe, mobile, and independent on the road.
