Safety 1st Forklift Training is a professional training provider that has been offering comprehensive instruction and certification to forklift truck operators since 2020. We cater to experienced and novice operators in various industries, including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, Automotive, Lumber, Steel, Paper, Health Care, Bottling, and Food. Our training programs are designed to meet the specific needs of our clients, providing site-specific instruction.
We offer classroom sessions covering topics such as safe operation, preventive maintenance, hazard recognition, and risk management. What sets us apart is our one-on-one evaluation process, conducted by certified instructors. Operators undergo a pre-shift inspection of the lift truck they will be authorized to operate, followed by on-the-job evaluation in authentic operating conditions.
We assess driving techniques, material handling skills, load placement, and overall safety knowledge and awareness. For electric lift trucks, we also provide training on battery inspection, handling, charging, and maintenance procedures. At Safety 1st Forklift Training, our goal is to ensure that operators receive the necessary skills and knowledge to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
