About MPA Singapore
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is a key government agency dedicated to establishing Singapore as a leading global hub for maritime activities. Central to its mission is the promotion of safety at sea through initiatives like the annual Safety@Sea (S@S) Week, which serves as a platform for maritime professionals to enhance awareness and share best practices in maritime safety. In its 12th year, the upcoming S@S Week 2025 will take place from July 15 to 18 and will feature a range of events including conferences and workshops tailored to different maritime sectors.
MPA actively collaborates with industry partners and other agencies to enhance safety standards, support environmental protection, and facilitate the growth of maritime operations and services.
