Sähkön-kilpailutusfi

Sähkön-kilpailutus.fi is a Finnish electricity comparison and ordering service operated by Comperion Oy, a Helsinki-based company. Established in 2019, the service helps consumers compare electricity contracts and choose an option suited to their home, energy use and preferences. Its comparison tool estimates costs based on a user’s annual consumption or housing details, then presents offers from electricity companies with information about pricing and contract terms.

Customers can order many of the listed contracts directly through the website. After a new contract is arranged, the new electricity company handles cancellation of the previous contract, making the switch simpler. The service covers different pricing models, including exchange-priced electricity and fixed-price general electricity, and explains factors such as monthly fees, price changes and contract duration. It is designed for people moving home as well as those reviewing an existing agreement. The company states that more than 1.5 million people have used the service and over 50,000 contracts have been ordered. Consumer orders include a 14-day cancellation period.
