Sail Eat

Sail Eat is an eco-gastronomic sailing project that brings together ocean travel, local food and cultural discovery. Its crew shares a two-year voyage around the world, visiting countries, regions and islands to meet local people and learn about their traditions, products and stories. The project presents sailing as both a sporting challenge and an environmentally responsible adventure, with a focus on biodiversity and the benefits of local food.

Through its Let’s Sail, Let’s Eat and Let’s Cook content, Sail Eat invites audiences to follow its journeys, explore culinary discoveries and try recipes inspired by places along the route. Its offerings include sailing stories, travel updates, photographs, videos and a web series, alongside recipes featuring regional ingredients and dishes. Articles cover destinations and food traditions, including vanilla in Tahaa and coconut bread in Polynesia, as well as accounts of ocean crossings and life aboard the boat Sedna. Sail Eat also shares its current position, introduces project partners and provides a boutique, connecting followers with the people, places and flavors encountered at sea.
