Sailing Champions League

The National Sailing League (NSL) is an association of sailing clubs from across Oceania, including Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Membership is open to clubs that belong to their respective national sailing authority. The NSL organizes club-versus-club competition, bringing member teams together in regional league events and finals.

Clubs can enter teams in Open, Women’s and Youth divisions. Racing takes place in a stadium-style format, using short courses and fleets of identical seven-metre one-design keelboats. Events can feature up to 24 club teams competing across six to eight boats, creating a close and accessible spectator experience. The league’s calendar includes regional qualifiers and Oceania finals, with events for different divisions.

Top-performing NSL teams are invited to compete in the Sailing Champions League World Championships, connecting the regional competition with international club sailing. The organization also shares event news, results, competition information and a gallery through its website. Based in Brighton, Victoria, NSL supports club participation and offers a structured pathway for sailors to represent their clubs in regional and global competition.
