The Sailing Federation of Hong Kong, China is the national authority for the sport of sailing in Hong Kong. Its aim is to develop and grow the sport and encourage a passion for sailing among the people of Hong Kong. The sport of sailing is accessible, inclusive and open to all, regardless of physical ability, whether young or old, beginner or advanced, looking for weekend sailing, competitive racing or ocean cruising.

About Sailing
The Sailing Federation of Hong Kong, China (HKSF) is the national governing body for sailing in Hong Kong, recognized by the International Sailing Federation. With a mission to develop the sport of sailing in the region and advance the interests of the boating community, HKSF offers a comprehensive Training Scheme that caters to all skill levels. From beginner courses that introduce thousands of individuals to sailing each year, to higher-level courses that lead to representation at national and international levels, HKSF promotes excellence and inclusivity in the sport.
Acting as an intermediary between local sailing and the international stage, HKSF is affiliated with organizations such as World Sailing (ISAF) and the Asian Sailing Federation (ASAF). HKSF ensures fair yacht racing activities, determines athlete eligibility, and selects sailors to represent Hong Kong at international events, including the Olympics and Asian Games. By fostering memberships for individuals, associations, and clubs, HKSF encourages greater involvement from sailors and the wider public.
With a rich history dating back to the Royal Navy's first official regatta in 1845, the sport of sailing has flourished in Hong Kong, and HKSF has been at the forefront of its development. Today, HKSF continues to collaborate with various organizations to further grow the sport and provide opportunities for all to enjoy the beauty of sailing in Hong Kong's surrounding waters
