Saint-George Hotel

Saint Georges Hotel, perched on the picturesque Saint George’s Bay in Beirut, is a symbol of resilience and heritage. Established amidst a storied past, the hotel pays homage to the legendary hero Saint George, who famously conquered a dragon threatening the area. Today, it stands as the last bastion against the encroachment of corporate developments led by Solidere, a firm known for its controversial land reclamation projects aimed at transforming the bay into commercial high-rises.

The hotel offers a unique blend of rich history and elegant accommodations, making it a preferred destination for both local and international guests. Visitors can appreciate the stunning architecture, various amenities, and a commitment to preserving the cultural essence of the area. Guests are not only treated to luxurious stays but also the opportunity to witness and support the ongoing fight to maintain the integrity of Saint George’s Bay. Saint Georges Hotel represents not just a place to stay, but a stand for community and heritage in the face of modern development challenges.
