SAINTS is a remarkable brand that operates as a multi-species rescue and sanctuary for senior and special needs animals. Located in Mission, British Columbia, SAINTS provides a safe haven for animals that have no place else to go. Their mission is to offer appropriate medical attention, a safe and open environment, and a joyful celebration of each animal's individuality during their remaining years.

SAINTS aims to find these unique animals a special home, but if that's not possible, they ensure that they are safe and cherished within their sanctuary until the end of their days. SAINTS also has a powerful vision: to create a community that values the lives of elderly, palliative, and special needs animals, offering them the care and empathy they deserve. The organization operates as a non-profit, relying on generous donations from a supportive network within the community and online.

Their three functional teams - the management team, volunteer team, and board of directors - work together to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare and facility operations. SAINTS was founded in 2004 when Carol Hine recognized the need to provide a special environment for senior animals considered unadoptable due to age or infirmities. With their permanent home in Mission, SAINTS provides a cage-free lifestyle for the animals, allowing them to roam freely and safely interact with other animals.

Every resident at SAINTS is honored and respected for who they are, receiving unconditional love and care. To stay updated on SAINTS' events and news, you can sign up for their newsletter. Through the support and contributions of individuals like you, SAINTS can continue its invaluable work and make a difference in the lives of countless special animals.
