栄ミナミ音楽祭 is a premier music festival based in Nagoya, Japan, dedicated to revitalizing the local community and supporting indie artists. Launched in 2007, the festival began as a modest music event featuring around 100 artists across 13 venues. Over the years, it has grown exponentially, expanding into major city areas such as Osu and Nagoya Station, culminating in a staggering 550 participating artists across 43 venues by 2019.

With a vision to not only promote indie music but also to enhance the vibrancy of Nagoya, the festival has hosted over 3,800 artists, showcasing a diverse array of musical talent and providing joy to the community. Although the event faced a hiatus during the pandemic, it is set to make a triumphant return in 2024, marking a new chapter in its history. The festival is organized by the Sakae Minami Urban Development Association and aims to serve as a platform for local artists to shine while fostering a lively urban atmosphere.
