SAKAPFET OKAP is a multimedia platform dedicated to the department of Nord in Haiti, its residents, events, history, culture, and unique values. The name derives from the general concept of the city of Cap-Haitien (OKAP) when referring to this specific part of the country. SAKAPFET OKAP is a response to the constant need for local media that highlights the community's reality while providing a platform for dissemination and promotion to the outside world.

We take pride in practicing community journalism, covering local news and events while creating a space for intellectuals and the general population to express themselves. Our mission revolves around four core pillars: education, information, awareness, and promotion.
