Salado Glassworks is a working glassblowing studio and gallery in Salado, Texas, where artists have created handmade glass art for more than two decades. Using traditional techniques and time-honored tools, the studio transforms molten glass into distinctive pieces that combine craftsmanship, color, and light. Its offerings include sculptural glass, vessels and bowls, seasonal and limited-edition works, and a signature bowl collection.

The team also creates custom glass projects, including lighting installations, working with homeowners, designers, and architects to bring individual ideas to life. Customers can explore memorial glass and one-of-a-kind glass gifts through the studio’s shop. For visitors who want to experience the process firsthand, Salado Glassworks offers guided, hands-on workshops in its hot shop.

Participants work alongside artists to select colors, explore forms, and shape molten glass into a unique piece. Workshops are designed for individuals, couples, families, and small groups, and no prior experience is required. Located at 1 Peddler’s Alley, the studio welcomes people interested in both acquiring handcrafted glass and discovering the art of glassblowing
