Malé divadlo

Divadlo F. X. Šaldy is a professional theatre in Liberec, presenting a varied programme of opera, ballet and drama across its venues, including Šaldovo divadlo and Malé divadlo. Its repertoire ranges from well-known classics such as Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and Puccini’s Tosca to contemporary works and productions inspired by Czech literature. The theatre also stages concerts, musicals and special events, welcoming audiences to experience live performance throughout the season.

Visitors can purchase individual tickets, season subscriptions, flexible passes and gift vouchers, and can arrange group transport to selected performances. Beyond its main programme, the theatre offers workshops, educational performances for schools, backstage tours, discussions with artists and introductory talks. Families can make use of childcare during performances, while audiences can attend festivals, exhibitions, foyer concerts and informal cultural events such as breakfasts at the theatre. The organisation also supports young participants through acting, ballet and children’s opera studios, and offers opportunities for teachers, students and community groups.
