About SAA
Founded in 1919, the Salem Art Association (SAA) is a prominent 501c3 non-profit arts organization located in Salem, Oregon. As one of the largest community arts organizations in Oregon, SAA is devoted to engaging the community in the appreciation of the arts. They achieve this through contemporary art exhibits, events, and comprehensive arts education for both youth and adults.
SAA's vision is to create a vibrant and connected community that utilizes the power of the arts and heritage to enhance creativity and improve lives. One of SAA's notable accomplishments is the Salem Art Fair & Festival, the largest art festival in Oregon. This event showcases over 200 artists from across the country, providing access to a diverse range of artistic mediums.
The fair also features live music, local craft beer, wine, cuisine, and family activities. Furthermore, SAA offers free admission year-round at the Bush Barn Art Center & Annex. By bringing art to the forefront and providing educational opportunities, SAA continues to enrich the cultural landscape of the mid-Willamette Valley
