SalesPop: Social Proof App

SalesPop by Relay is a Shopify app that helps merchants build trust and encourage action by showing shoppers genuine, recent activity from their store. Its notifications can highlight purchases, products added to carts, customer reviews and low inventory, alongside welcome and discount messages. The app emphasizes honest social proof: activity is verified rather than invented, and customer notifications display first names only.

Designed for straightforward setup, SalesPop installs through Shopify without coding or theme changes. Merchants can choose notification types, customize their appearance to match a storefront, and set where and when they appear, including which pages, position, frequency and duration. Previews let users check each Pop before publishing.

The app also provides reporting on views, clicks, dismissals and conversions by Pop type, with A/B testing to compare performance.
