Salomaan Konepaja is an experienced and modern metal contract manufacturer. Our core expertise lies in the serial production of steel components and structures. We have recently taken the initiative to assess our company's carbon footprint and have developed a sustainability report with concrete goals for reducing our emissions.

This project was undertaken in collaboration with other industry leaders, including Ellego Powertec and Konepajan Heinä. By measuring our carbon footprint, we aim to stay ahead of the curve and meet future customer demands for transparency and sustainability. The results of the assessment were surprising, revealing that material waste and transportation contribute significantly to our emissions.

However, we are proud to say that our general energy efficiency is already at an advanced level. To further minimize our carbon footprint, we have identified specific measures to reduce material waste and improve energy efficiency. We also plan to explore potential collaborations with other companies in our region to maximize our environmental impact
