Salón ACME is a groundbreaking art platform created by artists, for artists. Its mission is to showcase and promote talented creators from Mexico and beyond. The brand consists of several sections that make up its vibrant ecosystem.

The Open Call is the flagship section of Salón ACME, serving as the heart of the project. Artists from all disciplines and themes are invited to apply, free of charge. A rotating Curatorial Council, composed of artists, curators, academics, gallery owners, and museum directors, reviews and selects the participating artworks.

This edition, HANGAR - Centro de Investigação Artística, is offering the Salón Prize, which grants a two-month artist residency in Lisbon, Portugal. The Acme Warehouse continues the support for artists who have previously participated in the Salon by promoting their current work. The Invited State section aims to decentralize content and showcase artists from different regions of the country.

A curator with in-depth knowledge of the local art scene curates an exhibition featuring the work of local artists. In the Invited Projects section, national and international galleries present specific projects in the form of Project Rooms, allowing for more experimental proposals. The Editorial Room is a curated section showcasing a selection of rare publications, books, and special issues.

The Public Program includes talks and panel discussions that foster dialogue on topics related to art production, promotion, commercialization, and education. Salón ACME is directed and curated by BASE Projects, ensuring artistic direction, content, communication, and conceptualization of the event. Archipelago, a company dedicated to generating cultural change through entertainment, provides the venue for Salón ACME.
