Salon du livre haïtien

Haïti Futur is an organisation that supports the promotion of Haitian literature and culture, bringing authors, publishers, readers and cultural partners together through public events. Its main event is the Salon du Livre Haïtien, an annual book fair in Paris that celebrates writing and publishing connected with Haiti. The 13th edition is scheduled for 5 and 6 December 2026 at the town hall of Paris’s 15th arrondissement.

Visitors can expect opportunities to meet authors and publishers, attend talks and conferences, and take part in activities for children and adults. The programme also highlights Haitian art and crafts, alongside a cultural evening. In the days before the fair, partner organisations organise events as part of a Haitian cultural week.

Haïti Futur also shares reading selections and information about authors, books and Haitian culture through its website and social media channels. Authors, publishers, exhibitors, partners, volunteers and others interested in participating are invited to contact the organisation about the 2026 event
