About Salon de l'herbe et des fourrages
The Salon de l'Herbe et des Fourrages is an annual event that caters to agricultural breeders, offering everything from seeds to animal feed. Spanning over 40 hectares, this exhibition replicates a real agricultural farm, providing visitors with the opportunity to discover and test equipment and products from 160 renowned brands under real usage conditions. The event takes place in different regions of France each year, rotating between the three major breeding areas: Villefranche d'Allier in the center (03), Poussay in the east (88), and Nouvoitou in the west (35).
In addition to the exhibitors, independent experts share their invaluable knowledge during conferences and technical workshops. With around 30,000 visitors expected to attend, this event aims to address all the questions breeders have regarding grass and forage crops, from seed selection to their incorporation into animal rations.
