Salon Reumayhdistys ry

Salon Rheumatism Association (Salon Reumayhdistys ry) is an active membership association supporting people affected by rheumatic and related illnesses. Its welcoming, community-focused programme offers opportunities for peer support, shared learning, exercise and social connection, reflecting its principle of offering something for everyone. Members can join condition-specific support groups, including groups for people with fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, rare conditions and pain, as well as a group for children with rheumatic illnesses and their parents.

Other activities include a monthly club meeting on current topics, a book circle, a gym group, guided water exercise and line dancing. The association also arranges trips, excursions, concerts and other events throughout the year. Its activities encourage members to explore ways to support their health and wellbeing together, so no one has to face illness alone.

People who join Salon Rheumatism Association also become members of the Finnish Rheumatism Association and receive its member benefits, including an annual subscription to Reuma magazine upon payment of the membership fee
