SalsaNueva is a Paris-based dance school founded by Julien Cogordan, the 2013 and 2014 French salsa champion. With locations in the 12th and 20th arrondissements, it welcomes beginners throughout the year and offers classes for adults, children and teenagers. Students can explore Latin dances such as Cuban, Puerto Rican and Colombian salsa, bachata and kizomba, alongside solo styles including heels, reggaeton, Brazilian samba, hip hop, Afro, street jazz, dancehall, Pilates and more. Children’s programs range from early dance discovery and classical dance to modern jazz, hip hop and K-pop.
Classes run seven days a week, with introductory sessions on Sundays, flexible scheduling and no requirement to attend with a partner. SalsaNueva also offers workshops, monthly intensives, choreography sessions and a one-month discovery package. Beyond regular lessons, its services include private classes, wedding and hen-party dance sessions, corporate workshops, team-building activities, performances, dance events and trips. Adult and children’s galas provide opportunities to perform in Parisian venues.
