Salta Fronteiras

Salta Fronteiras Associação is a non-governmental organisation focused on environmental awareness and youth participation. Founded in 1999, it works to connect people with different cultures, communities and places, encouraging young people to become active, informed and tolerant European citizens. Its work includes youth mobility, training, inclusion, environmental education and the promotion of European identity.

The association coordinates Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 projects, creating opportunities for learning, exchange and international collaboration. Its programmes include multicultural youth exchanges for people aged 13 to 30, international training for youth workers, educators and volunteers, and longer-term partnerships supporting education, inclusion and sustainability. Through the European Solidarity Corps, young people can also explore volunteering in another country.

Salta Fronteiras supports participants throughout their international experiences, helping them build skills, independence, empathy and critical thinking. The organisation aims to make these opportunities accessible to young people in Felgueiras and to create positive effects for both participants and their communities. It also welcomes enquiries from those interested in exchanges, volunteering or other opportunities to take part.
