Salt City Prospects is a hockey development and exposure organization based in Syracuse, New York, serving young athletes through camps and showcases along the East Coast. Its mission is to help players develop their skills and understand the opportunities available beyond high school and junior hockey, including NCAA, ACHA, and junior-level programs.
The organization’s camps combine on-ice training with guidance about hockey pathways. Activities include two hours of ice time each day, fast-paced practices, skill development, position-specific sessions for goalies, forwards, and defensemen, competitive drills, and game scrimmages. Coaches and players also provide presentations for athletes and parents about college and junior hockey options. College and junior hockey coaches and scouts attend showcases to evaluate participants for their programs.
Salt City Prospects reports 283 NCAA commitments since 2017, including 27 to Division I programs and 256 to Division II or III programs. Athletes and families can contact the organization for camp registration information and details about upcoming events. The organization lists a Syracuse phone number and email contacts for inquiries.
