About 救世軍 The Salvation Army Hong Kong and Macau
The Salvation Army Hong Kong and Macau is an international Christian church and charitable organization committed to shaping lives, caring for communities, and nurturing believers. With a presence in 134 countries and regions worldwide, The Salvation Army has been serving the Hong Kong community for over 90 years since 1930. Currently, we operate over 80 social service units, 35 schools and 2 educational centers, 17 corps (churches) and 1 outpost, as well as 15 thrift stores in Hong Kong and Macau.
Additionally, we have representative offices in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, China, where we promote community development projects. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and provide assistance to those in need in Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China. We actively respond to local needs and provide support to those in crisis and natural disasters.
