Salvium

Salvium is a privacy-focused blockchain project developing a Layer 1 proof-of-work network that aims to balance transaction confidentiality, regulatory compatibility, and private decentralized finance. Built on Monero-based cryptographic foundations, its privacy features include stealth addresses, ring signatures, Ring Confidential Transactions, and the CARROT and SPARC protocols. View keys and refundable transactions are designed to support selective transparency and compliance-related use cases.

The network uses the RandomX mining algorithm and the SAL token. Participants can mine or stake SAL; staking currently offers a share of block rewards, subject to a lock period of approximately 30 days. Salvium’s roadmap includes smart-contract functionality, private token issuance for stablecoins and other assets, and tools for porting Ethereum applications.

Users can access SAL through the official, open-source desktop GUI wallet and command-line wallet, which support self-custody, staking, transactions, and node operation. The project also lists third-party mobile, desktop, and browser-based wallet options. Salvium provides technical documentation, protocol papers, a block explorer, network statistics, mining-pool information, and community channels for users and developers.
