Sam Systems

SAM Systems provides a connected smart-access and management system designed for self-storage operators. Its offering combines SAMlock, a battery-powered NFC and Bluetooth smart lock; SAMaccess, a cloud platform for managing locks, users and access permissions; and SAMmanagement, software for property and customer administration. Together, these products support a digital workflow from online reservations and unit selection to payment, access control and remote operations.

SAMlock is designed for existing and new storage units, indoors or outdoors, and installs without cabling. It offers tap-to-open access through a smartphone and uses preinstalled Panasonic CR-series industrial lithium batteries. SAM Systems states a typical battery life of up to 15 years, an IP55 weather rating and operation from −40°C to +85°C. Through SAMaccess, operators can manage multiple locations, review logs and receive real-time notifications. SAMmanagement supports bookings, customer records, invoicing and occupancy overview. The system can also integrate with Ajax alarms, automatically coordinating alarm status with authorized access.
