About Samaritangalantask
Samaritán is a church-run social services centre for older citizens, based in Galanta, Slovakia. Its work focuses on caring for elderly and ill people, supporting their comfort, dignity and quality of life. The centre provides services including meals and spiritual care, and its website offers practical information such as pricing, contact details, documents and forms, as well as annual reports.
Samaritán also organizes social and recreational activities for residents. Past events featured a carnival ball, museum trips and celebrations centred on friendship, helping create opportunities for companionship and participation in community life. The centre shares updates about its activities and history, including information about its Samaritán and Eden services.
In 2025, with financial support from the City of Galanta, the centre purchased a Gavota G specialist chair to improve comfort and safety and make daily care easier for clients. Samaritán also invites the public to support its work by donating two percent of their paid taxes.
