Samaritern Thun

Samariterverein Thun is a local community association dedicated to first aid, practical learning and mutual support. Its members welcome people interested in developing emergency-response skills and contributing to a team focused on helping others. The association offers first-aid training designed around contemporary adult-learning methods, including BLS-AED-SRC courses covering essential resuscitation measures and their application.

It also provides training on emergencies involving young children, with a focus on responding confidently when a child needs help, as well as courses for companies. For events, the association can provide medical services to support participants and help ensure assistance is available when needed. Members can take part in regular exercises and association activities to practise and build their knowledge.

Samariterverein Thun also shares information about membership, events, training programmes and its work through its website. Its former first-aid equipment shop at Friedheimstrasse 15 in Thun closed at the end of February 2026; the association thanks customers for their long-standing loyalty. Overall, Samariterverein Thun combines education, community involvement and practical first-aid support
