SambaRunning

Samba Trail Running Club is a Helsinki-based running club described as Finland’s oldest trail and mountain running club, and the country’s first official club of its kind. Its Finnish motto, “(P)oluil eka, poluil vika,” reflects its focus on the trails. The club is a recreational community built around shared participation and doing things together, while also welcoming a competitive spirit at times.

It aims to support the development of trail-running culture in Finland and offers people interested in trail and mountain running a way to connect through club membership. Rather than presenting itself as a commercial fitness brand, Samba emphasizes community, outdoor running, and collective involvement in the sport. Those interested in joining can find membership information through the club, and enquiries can be directed to samba@sambarunning.
