About Sambasivan & Parikh
Sambasivan & Parikh is a unique partnership between Ambika Sambasivan and Suhani Parikh, dedicated to promoting inclusive children’s literature. Founded by two passionate publishers, their shared vision is to use storytelling to create a more equitable and just future for children. Ambika Sambasivan, an illustrator turned publisher, focuses on crafting stories that resonate with children of color, especially those of South Asian descent.
On the other hand, Suhani Parikh, a second-generation Indian-American mom and entrepreneur, draws from her own life experiences to create relatable and inspiring tales. Together, they bring a diverse perspective to their publishing company, offering a range of books that celebrate diversity and empower young readers.
