SAMBO FIAS is the International Sambo Federation, a non-governmental public non-commercial organization that serves as the global authority for the development of Sambo. With 97 national federations and 120 countries practicing Sambo across the five continents, FIAS has played a crucial role in spreading the sport and fostering its growth. Sambo, which stands for self-defense without weapons, is a unique blend of various combative disciplines and martial arts.

It offers a comprehensive system of physical and spiritual education and has gained recognition as an international sport. FIAS organizes over 30 major Sambo competitions annually at the international level, including the World Cup and World Championships among different age groups.
