Sambre Oncologie

Sambre Oncologie is a nonprofit association established under France’s 1901 law, serving as the Centre de Coordination en Cancérologie (3C) for the Maubeuge area. Created in connection with France’s 2003–2007 Cancer Plan, it coordinates cancer care across its partner healthcare facilities and supports quality, consistent practice. Its work includes helping partners deliver cancer treatment, implement oncology network recommendations, and comply with applicable regulations.

The association’s partner institutions provide services in radiotherapy, digestive and breast surgery, gynaecological surgery, and chemotherapy. These include Centre Gray, Centre Hospitalier de Maubeuge, Polyclinique du Parc, Polyclinique de la Thiérache, and Polyclinique du Val de Sambre. Sambre Oncologie also shares information and coordinates care pathways, including multidisciplinary consultation meetings, patient support plans, and quality initiatives.

In collaboration with Centre Gray and the Espace Ressources Cancers de Maubeuge, operated by the association Étincelle de la Sambre, it offers supportive care such as social support, psychological care, and assessment for adapted physical activity.
