Sameer Nagda, M.D., is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic, serving patients in Arlington, Alexandria and Lorton, Virginia. His practice focuses on complex conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow and knee, with care tailored to each patient’s needs. Services include arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement, treatment for shoulder instability, elbow procedures such as Tommy John surgery, and knee care including ACL repair and reconstruction. Dr. Nagda also offers advanced techniques for revision cases, cartilage preservation and patellofemoral realignment.

A shoulder and elbow specialist, Dr. Nagda is an active member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. He is an assistant professor of clinical orthopaedic surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine and regularly lectures and teaches. His sports medicine experience includes serving as a physician for Team USA at the Olympics, the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team and the Washington Nationals.
