SAM Elimu Charity is a brand dedicated to transforming lives through education. Founded by Dr. Peter Linneman and his wife Kathy in 2002, this program supports children in poverty with high academic potential in rural Kenya. Initially starting with just four children, SAM Elimu now provides comprehensive support for over 140 children, including orphans.

SAM Elimu focuses on primary school children, enrolling them in quality boarding schools. They also support high school students in National and County schools, helping them reach their full potential. For post-high school students, SAM Elimu provides scholarships for leading universities and technical institutions. To date, over 100 students have successfully graduated from university.

The SAM Elimu program offers full scholarships that cover tuition, stationery, pocket money, uniforms, and transportation for high school children. Tertiary students also receive support with computers, upkeep, and accommodation. Additionally, SAM Elimu provides crucial psycho-social support, business literacy, and, most importantly, love.

SAM Elimu's mission is to provide deserving children with access to quality education in a fair and timely manner to shape well-rounded and empowered citizens. Their vision is to create educated, productive individuals committed to a lifetime of learning and service to humanity.
