Samen-Schmitz is a German gardening retailer with more than 180 years of experience helping garden enthusiasts create and care for their own green spaces. Its online shop offers more than 1,000 seed varieties alongside bulbs and planting stock, including flowers, vegetables, herbs, fruit, salads, lawns, and wildlife-friendly meadow mixes. Customers can also find seasonal bulbs such as tulips, daffodils, and amaryllis, as well as potatoes, onions, shallots, and garlic for planting.

The range extends beyond plants and seeds to include propagation supplies, soil, fertilizers, watering systems, plant-care and protection products, garden tools, planters, and equipment for balcony and urban gardening. The shop also carries bird food and accessories, plus suitable food and habitat products for hedgehogs and squirrels. Its wider gardening selection serves indoor plants and specialist needs, including orchids, succulents, Mediterranean plants, and citrus trees.
