About Samtökin '78
Samtökin '78 is an advocacy organization for the LGBTQ+ community in Iceland. We offer guidance, education, social activities, youth work, and effective advocacy. Our mission is to promote equality and support the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies.
We provide free counseling services for personal, social, and psychological matters, as well as legal advice. Our annual events, including meetings and social gatherings, create a safe space for the community to connect and thrive. We also offer educational programs and workshops to raise awareness and knowledge about LGBTQ+ issues.
