Following Jesus is a Christian discipleship brand that partners with churches to strengthen their approach to welcoming and discipling new believers. Its resources are designed to help people move beyond an initial decision of faith and take practical next steps in their relationship with Jesus and church community. Pastor and author Samuel Deuth created the core Following Jesus materials, drawing on more than 20 years of ministry experience.
The book guides new believers through seven essential steps, including prayer, Bible reading, water baptism, community, and sharing their story. The range includes print books, e-books, Bible verse resources, online courses, devotionals, study guides, children’s materials, and a Spanish edition. Churches can also access coaching resources, free downloads, and a discipleship and assimilation pathway.
Pastors and ministry leaders use these tools in baptism classes, new believer onboarding, small groups, and one-to-one discipleship. Following Jesus aims to give churches of different sizes a simple, consistent framework for helping people grow in faith and become connected to their church community
