Samuel Fitwi

Samuel Fitwi is a distinguished long-distance runner and the current German record holder for the 5 km street race. Hailing from Eritrea, Fitwi's inspiring journey is marked by a remarkable transformation from a novice athlete to a top competitor on the international stage. His achievements include a 9th place finish at the 2022 European Championships in the 10,000 meters and multiple titles as the German Champion in cross country running from 2020 to 2022.
