The Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA) is a community-focused organisation working to prevent drug abuse and support people in recovery. Its vision is to mobilise the community towards a drug-free Singapore, guided by values of passion, integrity, empathy and teamwork. SANA combines education, practical support and advocacy to help individuals and families address the effects of drug addiction and reduce the risk of re-offending.
Its programmes include family support, which helps strengthen relationships and build protective networks around recovering persons. Through Tele-Visit, families in Singapore’s north-east can connect with loved ones in prison by scheduled video conference at Sengkang and learn about available services. SANA also engages students and youth groups in preventive drug education, encouraging them to create peer-focused awareness campaigns. Client support services help people in recovery build family and social connections and manage everyday challenges.
SANA further offers opportunities to volunteer, donate and participate in fundraising campaigns. Based at Sengkang Community Hub, the association also shares resources, annual reports, newsletters and information about its work in Singapore and internationally.
