Sanatios

Sanatios is a medical technology venture developing customized dynamic hand orthoses for people with impaired hand function. Its focus is to support rehabilitation and everyday activities by creating devices people can comfortably wear, rather than leave unused. Sanatios addresses common problems with conventional orthoses, including poor fit, bulk, weight, difficult application, limited ventilation, lack of adjustability, and an appearance that may feel stigmatizing.

The developing orthosis is designed to be lightweight and discreet, with geometry tailored to the wearer’s hand and functional support that can be adjusted to individual needs and changing stages of recovery. A simple mechanism is intended to make it easier for users to put on and remove the device independently, while the tailored fit aims to support extended wear without discomfort.

Sanatios is developing the product with input from experts and invites people and partners to take part in prototype testing. Feedback is intended to help shape the device. The team also offers product demonstrations and opportunities to discuss potential collaboration.
