Sandra Bell

Sandra Bell Sculpture is the practice of Irish artist Sandra Bell, who creates contemporary interior and monumental works in cast bronze and fabricated metal. Drawing on Irish Celtic and classical traditions, her sculptures explore the human form through distinctive, curving abstractions. Themes of harmony and balance shape the work, while simple lines, open spaces, smooth surfaces and soft curves invite viewers to engage with the sculptures and their changing play of light.

With more than 30 years of experience, Bell has received over 30 commissions in Ireland for public and private collections, and her works are held in private collections worldwide. Her portfolio includes abstract, figurative and garden sculpture, as well as major public artworks such as Unity, a nine-metre stainless steel sculpture for Cherrywood Business Park, and Chornobyl Mother, a memorial in Cork’s Marina Park. Other projects include Teachers Inspire, a bronze commission for Dublin City University, and Anam Cara, created for a private residence using a biodegradable polymer model for bronze casting.
