The South African National Energy Association, Founded in 1924, the South African National Energy Association (SANEA), the South African Member Committee of the World Energy Council, represents a hub for objective thought leadership on energy and related matters. In so doing, SANEA stimulates original thinking to catalyse transformation of the South African Energy Sector. The South African National Energy Association (SANEA) is a not-for-profit company founded in 1924, bringing together people and organisations with an interest in energy and related matters. It serves as a hub for objective thought leadership, aiming to stimulate original thinking and support transformation across South Africa’s energy sector. SANEA draws on local, regional, continental and global networks to engage influential stakeholders, encourage evidence-based discussion, promote knowledge-sharing and strengthen the professional energy community.
