About Sangath India
Sangath India | GOA is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization that has been working in Goa and other Indian states for the past 25 years. Committed to improving health across the lifespan, Sangath empowers existing community resources to address the psychological and social needs of individuals through comprehensive interventions. With a unique blend of humanitarian approaches and innovative technological solutions, the dedicated team at Sangath strives to bring about positive change in society.
One of their notable initiatives is the annual Leadership in Mental Health course, which was established in 2008. This course aims to equip individuals with the skills necessary to develop and scale-up mental health interventions, particularly in resource-constrained settings and low-and-middle-income countries. Applications for the next course, scheduled for 2023-24, are now open.
