SJCP elevará el icónico Puerto de San Juan a estándares de clase mundial mediante un proyecto de inversión de capital privado de $425M. Esta significativa iniciativa ocurrirá en dos fases: primero, invirtiendo en reparaciones y mejoras a las instalaciones existentes, y luego, desarrollando infraestructura portuaria adicional (al llegar a ciertas metas) para apoyar crecimiento a largo plazo. Se espera que el SJCP contribuya $14 mil millones y más de 159,000 empleos directos e indirectos a la economía durante los 30 años de la concesión. SJCP, en colaboración con la Autoridad de Puertos y otros miembros de la industria turística y de cruceros, promoverá el crecimiento y desarrollo del sector de turismo de cruceros en Puerto Rico para beneficio del destino.
